Today, we are talking about a singing sensation whose voice personally impressed me. His song “Tum Kaho” has been going viral on Instagram, with several major influencers and TikTokers creating reels on the track and sharing them on their social media accounts. Not only Pakistani influencers, but content creators from around the world are also joining the trend and making reels featuring Amaan’s song.
From what I have researched about Amaan online, it is clear that he has always been passionate about singing. Pursuing music as a professional career was his dream, but due to certain circumstances, he could not dedicate enough time to it.
However, his recently released song has created a buzz across social media. After seeing the overwhelming love and appreciation from fans, we decided to interview Amaan and learn more about his musical journey. We will also ask him where he had been all these years and why people were deprived of hearing such a beautiful voice for so long.
1) Please introduce yourself and tell us about your journey from Pakistan to the USA.
My name is Amaan, and I’m a Pakistani singer, songwriter, composer, and music producer. My journey from Pakistan to the USA was a leap of faith — a decision made with courage, hope, and a desire to build a new life from the ground up. Leaving home wasn’t easy, but it taught me resilience. The challenges of a new culture, new responsibilities, and a fast-paced world shaped me into the artist I am today.
2) When did you first discover your passion for singing?
I discovered my passion for singing at a very young age. Music wasn’t something I learned — it was something I felt. Melodies came naturally, and singing became my way of expressing emotions long before I understood them.
3) Who inspired you to pursue a career in music?
My biggest inspiration has always been Kishore Kumar, whose voice carried emotion, versatility, and timeless beauty. At home, my mother inspired me deeply — her singing at family gatherings made me believe that music is a gift worth nurturing.
4) How did you begin your singing journey in the USA?
My journey in the USA began quietly and independently. I worked long hours during the day and created music late at night. I wrote songs, recorded at home, experimented with my sound, and slowly built my identity as a Pakistani artist abroad. Every step was self-made, and every milestone came from persistence.
5) What challenges have you faced while pursuing your passion for music?
The biggest challenges were balancing survival with passion, adapting to a new environment, and building everything from zero.
