### Eman Asad and Aon Sheikh Appear in Court With Their Lawyers
Recently, Eman Asad and her brother, Aon Sheikh, appeared in court alongside their lawyers. Aon shared a picture with Eman on his Instagram story, revealing that they would provide an update soon.
Meanwhile, during a media talk, Eman’s lawyer disclosed that she still hopes for reconciliation with Rajab Butt for the sake of their son, Kiwaan. According to her lawyer, Rajab has not provided any financial support since Kiwaan’s birth.
Eman also reportedly wants her son to meet his father in a comfortable and positive environment rather than in a courtroom, where the atmosphere may not be suitable for a child. Her lawyer referred to a birthday arrangement as an example of the kind of setting in which such meetings could take place.
Eman has reportedly filed a claim seeking monthly maintenance of Rs. 200,000 for herself as Rajab’s wife and Rs. 500,000 for their son, Kiwaan. The claim is said to take into account Rajab’s financial standing, particularly after he stated in a podcast that his net worth exceeded Rs. 10 billion. In family maintenance cases, financial support for a child may be assessed with consideration given to the father’s income and financial circumstances.
Another point of discussion concerns the dowry and gifts exchanged at the time of the marriage. Rajab’s lawyer has reportedly disputed claims regarding the dowry provided by Eman’s family. In response, Eman’s legal team presented a list of items said to have been given at the time of the marriage to the media. The list reportedly included jewellery, Eman’s personal belongings, and an expensive gift given to Rajab, with the combined value stated to be approximately Rs. 8.9 million.
Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, many people continue to hope that the matter will be resolved amicably and that Eman and Rajab may reconcile. For now, further developments are expected to come through the legal representatives of both parties.
