Juggan Kazim is a remarkable Pakistani television host and actor. She is currently associated with PTV as a host. Her notable dramas include Pani Jaisa Pyar, Man O Salwa, Sitam, Hadsa, Agar, Vasl, Gunah, and Lagay Aag Is Mohabbat Ko, among others. The host is happily married to Faisal Naqvi, and they have two children together. She is also a successful entrepreneur, running her own beauty brand, Nur by Juggun Kazim.Recently, Juggan Kazim appeared on Dr. Arij Zulfiqar’s podcast, where she opened up about her father’s murder and her troubled relationship with her mother. Juggan’s father Syed Abbas Kazim was popular Ptv figure and died in October 2002.
Juggan Kazim on her father’s passing:
“The most difficult moment of my life was when I got the news about my father. I was in Canada, in New York, and I received a call informing me that he had passed away. I used to call him Dada. I was 21 at the time. We had a deep but sometimes complicated relationship. I was focused on my studies and had many plans. That moment was heartbreaking. Later I learned he had passed away unexpectedly. That period was very tough for me. I saw a lot of realities of life during that time. Dada taught me many important lessons. He left too soon to see what I achieved. When I received the Presidential Award, I missed him a lot and thought, ‘Dada, you didn’t think I could do this.’ He was a strict man, but he had a big heart and cared for many people.”
On her childhood:
“Nobody is dearer to me than my mother. I love her a lot, but we had a challenging relationship growing up. I was a very energetic and rebellious child. I enjoyed playing with boys and didn’t think much about gender differences. For me, friendship and character matter the most. I was stubborn and often said no to what I was told. My parents’ separation also affected me. I used to stay with each of them on alternate days. The home environment was sometimes strict. My grandfather was religious and had strong principles. I was a well-known kid in Lahore because I was always up to something.”
