Usman Mukhtar Mukhtar was born in Rawalpindi Pakistan on 27 July 1985. His mother Nasira was also an actress and known for her negative roles in movies. But she stopped working soon after she got married.
Usman Mukhtar has 1 elder sister who got married in 2001. Usman and his sister were raised by their mother and grandfather Mukhtar Ahmed Anwar.
Due to his mischievous behaviour, his family sent him to boarding. Usman finished his early schooling in boarding ( Jinnah Army Public).
Usman Mukhtar opened up about a deeply personal chapter from his childhood, sharing that he was sent to boarding school at a young age — but he holds no resentment toward his mother for that decision.
Usman Mukhtar always wanted to be a film director, but his family did not approve his choice and asked him to pursue any other profession, so he studied journalism instead of filmmaking.
Usman Mukhtar revealed that he prefers doing projects in Islamabad as his mother is bedridden and has dementia. He shared that he can’t stay away for long periods and wanted to remain near her.
Usman Mukhtar is married to talented, career oriented girl Zunairah Inam, who has a degree of PHD from foreign.Usman and Zunaira now blessed to have a daughter.
While talking about childhood and fatherhood, Usman reveals that his father was strict and that being a father, he will never repeat the same thing that his father used to do.
He also revealed that when his mother left him at the hostel, he was upset and couldn’t believe that his mother had left him there.
