Recently, a YouTuber and film historian known for covering old Punjabi cinema claimed that actress Hina Tariq is the real niece of veteran actress Amrozia. The YouTuber even shared a clip from Hina Tariq’s interview with Nida Yasir in which she stated that she had no relatives in showbiz.
He also showed screenshots of his WhatsApp conversations with Amrozia and shared a photograph of Hina Tariq with her aunt, which he claimed was provided by Amrozia herself. The YouTuber expressed disappointment that Hina had allegedly concealed her relationship with the former film star. According to him, Amrozia was one of the strongest supporters of her family.
Following this, showbiz historian Dr. Ejaz Waris uploaded a video defending Hina Tariq. He stated that this is a personal family matter and that no YouTuber should comment on how someone chooses to manage relationships within their family.
